    Staff, food, ambiance THE BEST!! Owners, management, servers, bussers, food runners & kitchen staff are absolutely the best. Super professional. Food is always right on. The consistency Never fails. No wonder they have a super massive following . This place is always a go to when in town.

    Catching up on my yelp... As a local, there aren't many places in Marin I have much interest in dining out at, however Buckeye is one I can highly recommend. It's sort of a famous spot due to its "lodge" like charm and great food and drinks. It's white-table-cloth casual so you might feel more comfortable in dressy casual attire. I wouldn't come in fresh off the beach, although I think they'd still let you in, just keep in mind, it's a nicer dining spot. Service here is professional. They're great about checking up on you and don't worry if you spill a few crispy onion crumbs on the table cloth, the wait staff will promptly sweep those up for you. The food is excellent. My recommendation is the brick chicken. It's so rich and full of flavor. Everything is good though. The portions could be a little bigger with certain dishes (petrale sole for example), but all in all, the quality is there. It's pricey, but Buckeye is one of few places around that you actually get what you pay for.

    We came early and asked to be outdoors. Service from Katherine was phenomenal...friendly, efficient and anticipated our needs! We ordered the Oysters Bingo...rich and flavorful grilled oysters with Cheese and Spinach.next we had the Grilled Artichokes...done to perfection! And a side of Onion Strings...non greasy and crispy! For our main, we ordered the Brick Chicken and it was the best! Juicy, Crispy and Flavorful. I had the Grilled Shrimp Cobb Salad. It was gigantic with Four Grilled Giant Shrimp! Everything was perfect! Kudos Buckeye!

    Sunday lunch with the family, the chicken plate was very tasty. Kids had burger and hot dog. Good sized portions for a kids plate. The lemon cake dessert was perfect. Good service and quiet ambiance.
